The mission of our Quality Assurance and Product
Safety department
is to protect our company’s brand equity
and good name, and, by extension, those of our clients. As important
as baking delicious pastries and breads is, Crestone Group knows
that the oversight that goes with ensuring the quality and consistency
of our products — and the safety of the employees making them and
the consumers enjoying — is not one bit less essential.

Crestone produces more than 480 different baked goods nationwide.
Each one has specifications in terms of size, color, shape, and weight.
Day-to-day, from facility to facility, our dedicated QA team works
tirelessly to assure that those exacting standards are met, and that
any deviations are corrected immediately. Further, Good Manufacturing
Practice (GMP) regulations are in force throughout our facilities, and a
rigorous food safety program tracks raw goods and other ingredients
throughout the production and baking process. Finished products
are run through metal detectors to establish a “critical control point”
before distribution.

Our philosophy is to emphasize consistency and high quality during
every phase of operations, so that any variation from the norm is
truly an exception.
